In The Beginning: Today, a visit to South Louisiana often includes the role of tour guide. When thinking about my origin, interestingly clients, friends, and acquaintances all seem to have some familiarity with New Orleans, Cajun Cuisine, and Mardi Gras … (not necessarily in that order). In spirit, and at times in action, my extracurricular activities still include all three.
Growing Up: Relative to the town’s population at the time (approximately: 4700) and geographic size (approximately: 3sq. mi) there were only 96 students in my high school graduating class. Located near the Louisiana Gulf Coast it has been noted as a “Sportsman’s Paradise.” In the heart of Cajun territory hunting, fishing, and camping are common past times. The numerous festivals and celebrations that occur year round are enjoyed by locals, tourists, and transplants alike. Traveling to a larger city is a short 77 mile drive to Baton Rouge, 71 miles to Lafayette, and 90 miles to New Orleans. It would be a challenge to find nicer folks anywhere; they are the folks that contributed to the person that I am today. A part of me will always remain a few miles off the Louisiana Gulf Coast. It’s where I grew up … it’s home.
Accomplishments: I have been described as being very loyal to my family, friends, associates and clients and have been affiliated with the same real estate broker and the Dekalb Board of Realtors since beginning my real estate career over two decades ago.
After returning to college and earning a Bachelor of Science Degree-Accounting, Atlanta became my new home. I began my real estate career in 1995 and have since been added as an Active Life Member in the Pinnacle Achievement Award Program (AKA Million Dollar Club) and have received numerous other awards throughout the years. This includes being selected by Atlanta Magazine as one of Atlanta’s Top Real Estate Agents. I have also achieved the levels of RE/MAX 100%, RE/MAX Executive, and RE/MAX President’ss Club. I have also held dual leadership positions in a local professional organization, and have served on the Board of Directors of my neighborhood’s homeowner’s association.
