I love my affiliation with Realty Associates of Atlanta filled with top professionals in the Atlanta area! Originally licensed in 1986, I was affiliated with Century 21 Phoenix and then RE/MAX of Fayette selling real estate for several years in Clayton, Fayette, and Henry Counties and received the RE/MAX Executive Club award in 1988. I joined RE/MAX Executives in 2000 and then Realty Associates of Atlanta in 2015.
As a member of the DeKalb Association of Realtors, I am an Active Life Member of the Million Dollar Club and have also received the Pinnacle Club award. In addition, I received the RE/MAX 100% Club award each year from 2001 to 2007 and the RE/MAX Executive Club award in 2008. I have held the GRI designation since 1987. I am also a member of the Georgia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Before my real estate career, I worked in a variety of fields from marketing to retail to banking to being a paralegal at a top Atlanta law firm to office management to office equipment sales to teaching first grade. Through these professions I have met many people in many walks of life and understand the importance of listening and communication, organizational and time management skills, commitment, dependability, trustworthiness, integrity, ethics, and results driven problem solving skills.
I grew up in the Decatur area and am a graduate of The Westminster Schools, Vanderbilt University, and hold an MAT from Mercer University. While at Vanderbilt, I was a member of the AOπ sorority. I have one son who graduated from Georgia Tech, the Scheller College of Business, and currently works for The Home Depot in space planning and a future daughter-in-law who is also a Tech graduate in Industrial Engineering and is a consultant for Price Waterhouse Cooper. I also have dogs and cats filling my home with lots of love and fur.
I attend Cross Pointe Church in Duluth and have participated in various service opportunities including a mission trip to Alaska in 2012, Christmas projects to help those in need in the surrounding communities, and am currently volunteering with the Child Evangelism Fellowship and the Good News Club, a weekly elementary after school program. I have also volunteered for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation participating in the annual Great Strides walk and the annual Shamrocking For A Cure event.
I have been a successful real estate professional for over twelve years and continue to enjoy representing my clients in buying and selling their homes or investment properties. It is very important to me that all of their interests are covered and protected, but I especially enjoy the friendships formed during the process. My primary sales area is North Metro Atlanta. Wherever anyone needs me, I am there. I have sold as far west as Cobb to as far east as Newton County and all metro counties in between.
Being a life-long resident of Atlanta has certainly helped me to be quite familiar with many areas of Atlanta, and I look forward to being of service to you! It truly is all about the service, the experience, and the expertise!
